The Humane Society of Missouri was yet another recipient of our Jeans BeCause program. Since 1870, the Humane Society of Missouri has been dedicated to second chances. They provide a safe and caring haven to all animals in need – large and small – that have been abused, neglected or abandoned. Their mission is to end the cycle of abuse and pet overpopulation through rescue and investigation efforts, spay/neuter programs and educational classes. The Humane Society is committed to creating lasting relationships between people and animals through their adoption programs. They further support that bond by making available world-class veterinary care, and outstanding pet obedience and behavior programs.
The Humane Society of Missouri receives no local, state or federal tax support, nor any United Way funding. They able to provide their programs and services thanks to the generosity of individuals, corporations and foundations.
