One of our May Jeans BeCause recipients was the Cancer Support Community. Cancer Support Community of Greater St. Louis is an affiliate of the international non-profit organization Cancer Support Community, whose mission is to ensure that all people impacted by cancer are empowered by knowledge, strengthened by action, and sustained by community to enhance their overall well-being. All programs are completely free of charge and offered in a comfortable, home-like environment. Cancer Support Community offers professionally-led support groups, educational workshops, nutrition and exercise programs, and stress-reduction classes to empower and educate individuals affected by cancer.
